Project Manager required to work within the NHS, based at a Northern trust. This is a 6-month contract, paying £300 – £500 per day DOE, outside IR35, hybrid working (3 days per week onsite)
 
Summary:
The post holder will provide a professional project management service within the Digital Programme team. You will be working across the Trust and Local Health Community to enable new and improved ways of working that supports patient care. The post will lead, plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
 
Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development, delivery and implementation of projects
  • Coordinate all projects across the programme to ensure implementation of the projects.
  • Report on progress to the Programme Board and other governance structures.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Responsible for improvement, performance management and evaluation of the projects through reporting against strategic and operational plans.
  • Lead service improvement initiatives as needed by developing proposals for service improvement and pathways.
 
Essential Experience Required:
  • A demonstrable record of project management in delivering major change projects, on time, within budget and to required standards
  • Expertise in working in partnership with service-users and patients to bring about service improvements and redesign, and the ability to share this expertise with others.
  • Experience of working on complex projects and bringing people together to facilitate change
  • Ability to balance project management methodologies with “hands on” getting involved in making change happen
  • Experience of working in the NHS
