A look back at some of our 2022 achievements!
2022 – what a year it’s been!
From awards to promotions, new offices to new clients and some milestone anniversaries, it’s been a year of change, transformation and growth at Keystream.
Here are some of our highlights.
August: New hires meant we more than doubled headcount in our government division. Both the local and central government teams have plans to expand further early next year.
September: We opened our first regional office in Newcastle to serve NHS clients across the region! Long serving Keystream Associate Director Heather Gordon has made a fantastic start, building a new team and partnering with key north east NHS Trusts.
November: Our Life Sciences division has seen huge growth over the past year. Manager Natalie has expanded her team to work with clients in the USA, a region that accounted for 48% of the global market in 2020. We’re expecting great things in 2023!
As a framework approved recruitment partner, customers know we are a supplier they can trust. Each year we undergo rigorous audits to ensure consistent quality, transparent & fair pricing and social value contribution.
January: Keystream was awarded a place on the (local government resourcing partnership) LGRP framework for interim hiring for the first time!
July: We passed audits for the Crown Commercial Supplier framework RM6160, held since 2014 and RM6229 covering contract and permanent hiring.
November: We retained our G-Cloud framework place for the sixth consecutive year - G-Cloud 13.
Recruitment delivery performance
Of course, the thing that matters most to our customers is our ability to deliver. For clients - excellent staff, on time, on budget through a hassle-free, seamless service. For job seekers - great oportunities and smooth administration.
In 2022, we have had our busiest, and most productive, year to date, supporting the NHS, public and private sectors as they recover post-covid.

We’ve grown our team by 20% year on year, improving diversity in the process.
- Women Directors - increased from 14% to 38%

- Ethnic diversity - increased from 11% to 19%.
Long service and promotions
We’re proud of our culture, career progression and recognition – some of the reasons we have industry leading staff retention!
This year, we celebrated some major work anniversaries - including five people with seven or more years of service.
And, we’ve promoted over 20% of our people across all functions including two to Associate Director.
Team satisfaction surveys reveal giving back is really important to our teams and we have a history of enthusiastic charity support. After a team vote, Hestia was chosen as our 2022 Charity of the Year.
Our team activities raised over £3750 for Hestia and some of us also got to volunteer on their Big Day Out.
We partner with Ecologi, planting a tree for each placement and off-setting emissions generated. To date, we've planted 1800 trees and we have offset 13 tonnes of carbon emissions in 2022.
Our much-valued Keystream culture reflects the camaraderie and support we have as a team. We take the opportunity to get together socially, both in our teams and as a whole business.
2022 has seen a welcome return to company socials and activities after the restrictions of covid.
- 3 year vision and team building at Tewkesbury in the Cotswolds where we competed in It’s a knockout, laser shooting and segways.
- Team events – including escape rooms, cocktail making, shuffleboard and Flight Club
- Christmas charity day
- And finally, a triumphant return to the Keystream Christmas Party
An exciting 2023!
