A BI Consultant is needed for an inclusive and collaborative company to work on a contract basis, responsible in creating a large-scale visualisation dashboards, that enable all areas of the business to derive data-driven actions and insights for an NHS Trust in Manchester.

This is an onsite and remote contract position, and it comes with a salary of £550.00 to £650.00 a day. The BI Consultant will also integrate data from different patient administration systems into the Trust Data warehouse. Creating metrics and aggregated Data Mart for use by Data Visualisation and analysts across the business - whilst performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. The primary skills required of the BI Consultant should include:

?    Completion of on-boarding tasks.  This is to include use of DevOps, GIT, and completion of set tasks to demonstrate learning, understanding, and aptitude.
?    Merging of multiple hospital site data sets into a combined Data Warehouse.
?    Design/architect. and script required ETL’s.
?    Lead on model design and development.
?    Development of front-end reporting - SSRS, Power BI reports/dashboards/Apps.
?    MDX/DAX scripting where required.
?    Creation of SSIS packages.
?    Documentation of processes, training materials and technical guides within DevOps.
?    Notation of code in accordance with Trust Standards.
?    Support deployment of code through review of pull requests.
?    Training/education/mentoring of substantive staff.
?    Working in Azure DevOps (Power BI’s / sprints / testing /code management).
?    Attendance and participation in project meetings.
?    Requirements capture from service SMEs.
?    Scoping, estimation, and documentation of requirements, with translation to PBI’s and tasks within DevOps for sprint planning as agreed with Domain lead.
