Keystream emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting.

Emissions Reduction Targets:

We’re tracking well towards reducing our carbon emissions and anticipate reaching NetZero by 2050.

We have completed an internal review of our emissions to ensure our reported emissions are accurate.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to a gradual and sustainable reduction pathway towards Net Zero by 2050, aiming for a further 5% reduction by 2030 (61.5 tCO₂e).

Carbon Reduction Projects:

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives

We have successfully implemented several environmental management measures since the 2022 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 0.82 tCO₂e, a 19% reduction against the 2022 baseline Scope 2 and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract.

The following projects and initiatives have been successfully delivered:

• Minimising business travel.

• Turning off computer equipment, including random checks, energy efficient office space.

• Branded water bottles and installing a plumbed water filter.

• Clean air plants.

• Extra recycling bins.

• Environmental awareness training for new & existing staff.
• Microsoft Teams has replaced emails as our principal method of internal communication.

We are currently:

• Engaging with the landlord on budling wide initiatives to reduce electricity, gas and water consumption.

• Reviewing our electricity contract and contacting our provider to check if they offer renewable energy.

• Implementing an accurate expense portal to better record and monitor business travel mileage.

• Rolling out an electric vehicle (EV) scheme for staff business use and commuting.

In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:

• Strengthening supplier engagement to work with our supply chain to integrate contract-specific emission factors to more accurately monitor and reduce emissions.
• Increasing staff engagement through sustainability awareness programs and incentives for greener commuting.

 

Declaration and Sign off:

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.

Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard¹ and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting².

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard³.

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
