Isaac Vivian
Managing Consultant
Finding purpose in a career is a journey, and for me that purpose is clear: solving the complex challenges facing our society. I discovered this purpose at Oxford University, where working with rough sleepers sparked a passion for tackling systemic issues.
That experience led me to local government, where I saw how public services and community groups drive meaningful change. I later moved into consulting, broadening my experience tackling the UK’s most complex systems challenges across local government, the NHS, Defence and central government.
Complex challenges aren’t solved by words, but by change — and people make that change possible. My work focuses on helping systems and organisations turn strategies into lived reality for those who work within them and those they serve. The learning never stops; every place has its own context. I take pride in learning from and working alongside public sector colleagues to create meaningful impact.
About me: From Nottingham, but I grew up in Shanghai until I was 16. Now a proud Wolverhampton resident, Spurs supporter and Saturday footballer, with far too much knowledge of The Lord of the Rings. On a relaxed afternoon, you’ll likely find my wife, kids and me at our local vineyard — yes, there really is a vineyard in Wolverhampton.
A fun fact about me:
I’m an identical twin and my brother became a hugely popular child model in China (he was on billboards in major cities and everything). Despite being identical, the modelling agency never wanted me!
